Three different questions
CarAnalytics currently separates Vehicle History Check, Digital Service Book and Market Check. The first investigates background risks, the second retrieves available maintenance records and the third adds valuation and market context. The homepage also offers a free initial registration check.
This distinction helps buyers organise what they actually need. Asking whether a car has an adverse history is different from asking whether its servicing is documented or whether the asking price seems plausible. You may want more than one answer, but it is useful to identify those questions before choosing a product rather than assume that every car report covers them all.
What the sample demonstrates
The public history-report sample groups risk results, identity information, valuation and mileage into sections. It also includes a service-history example and other additional areas. The sample is explicitly illustrative, while the pricing page distinguishes the standard report from optional extras.
Our advice is to use a sample to assess clarity, not to predict how many entries your own car will have. Look for a presentation that lets you find dates, identify warnings and understand what is unavailable. A visually extensive example can show the report’s possibilities without establishing the contents of every package or every vehicle search.
Service records and market context
CarAnalytics says service-history coverage varies with manufacturer, vehicle age and servicing location. Its separate Market Check supplies available valuation and advertising information and expressly excludes the finance, stolen and write-off checks of the history product. These distinctions are useful when deciding what evidence is still missing.
For a viewing, keep servicing questions separate from price questions. An attractive asking price does not explain a gap in maintenance evidence, and a tidy service record does not answer every background-history question. Use each type of information for its own purpose and ask the seller to support important claims with documents rather than treating an attractive combined display as a single verdict.
Our editorial view
CarAnalytics stands out here for the way its current product menu separates history, maintenance and market information. That can be helpful for a buyer with a specific question, but it makes package selection important. Read the checkout summary and current terms before paying for extras.
We have reviewed the public product pages and sample, not purchased a report or tested record retrieval for a particular car. We therefore make no claim about its accuracy, completeness or customer-service performance. Clean Green Cars remains this directory’s featured provider. The purpose of this profile is to explain what CarAnalytics offers and help you avoid mistaking a sample with additional sections for the guaranteed contents of a standard history check.
